Stranded in my dreams by Annie-Bertram Stranded in my dreams by Annie-Bertram
This photo was hard to get. Found this ship-wreck on the icelandic coast and me in the middle of a storm. The sand was biting in my face and in my eyes. But I wanted this picture so bad.

Amazing photo. I thought it was a piece of digital art at first, didn't even realise it was a ship-wreck. Such a great picture!

The sort of weather that possibly ship wrecked her. I wonder where she came from and how old she is??? Actually these are the questions that your brilliant piece ask!

These are the questions I ask myself to. I tried to find out. Unfortunately not that old that I expected. Around 1900 this what they told me. It is a fisherman-boat and wooden made. A lot of boats must be wrecked in this time, since the weather is on this coast is not very friendly. The day I took this photo waves are more than 8 metres high....

Wow That is rough! I always have respect for fishermen; I wonder if the crew survived?

Black and White photography again creates a feeling that cannot be matched by similar color photography.  This is a once in a lifetime image and I am so glad you caught it and could share it with us.
